A Beautiful Eco -Friendly Rural Setting For Our Luxury Weekend Yoga Retreat In Norfolk.
Here we are again returning to this venue for our only weekend retreat in 2021 There’s a saying “with familiarity comes ease” and yes maybe thats true, but also it brings with it a feeling of contentment a sense of letting go, to relax, to breathe. And thats what this retreat is about to visit whats familiar within our yoga practice, yet to be more receptive to what unfolds, within that practice, to continue to benefit from our practice, yet also make it more sustainable. Whilst surrounded by nature and birdsong.
VENUE:
You will stay on a beautiful eco-friendly country manor estate,sustainably run on over 90% renewable energy with quirky rooms and a lovely dedicated yoga space, not far from the North Norfolk Coast.
The weekend location is nature at its best with acres of beautiful private land to explore, gardens, woods, forests and even its own boating lake.
When not on your yoga mat you can take a relaxed walk around the estate to enjoy the country air, swim in the heated pool or even take a fresh water swim in the lake, weather permitting.
Or you can stay inside to relax, read a book, unwind and chat with like minded people in a welcoming and cozy environment.
ROOMS:
You will sleep in luxury bedrooms made with reclaimed wood, original farm doors have been used alongside the original timber beams to add authenticity to each room. All of the bathrooms have under floor heating and rain showers. The bedrooms are.super comfortable, extra thick sprung mattresses and high-quality cotton linen, as well as using only eco and allergy friendly products.
Food:
The food at this retreat is always a highlight. You will be served freshly prepared, delicious, wholesome and seasonal vegetarian/vegan food with a touch of Japanese . Prepared as always by our professional chef .
Yoga weekend:
This retreat is designed to help you improve your alignment and practice techniques, and dig a little deeper into your practice, with steady, creative and energising practices, pranayama and silent sitting.
Sthira- a sense of steadiness, to find your roots, a sense of stability.
Sukham- centred, effortless effort a sense of ease
Our breath naturally embodies the two important elements Sthira (Steady) and Sukham (ease) in these classes we will work with the breath to establish an ability to practice in a relaxed and harmonious manner in which allowing our minds to be calmer making it easier to turn our attention inwards. You will also have the time and opportunity to ask questions about your individual practice and to work with an experienced teacher within a relaxed countryside setting.
Classes will be suitable for all levels of experience except complete beginners.

Friday:
Yoga from 6.00 - 7.30pm
3-course Dinner served at 8.00pm.
Saturday:
Yoga from 08.15-10.15am
Post yoga breakfast served at 10.30am
Free time to explore the surroundings.
Tea and Snacks at 3.30pm
Yoga from 5.00-7.00pm
3-course Dinner at 8.00pm
Sunday:
Yoga 8.00-10.00am

TRAVEL:
You should arrive between 4-5pm on Friday to settle in before the first yoga class.
The nearest railway station is Downham Market. If travelling by Train the venue is about 90 minutes from London Kings Cross. From there West Lexham is only a taxi journey away shared taxis are also an option which can be arranged.
